These notes cover the framechayn.app product website and the current FrameChayn prototype. The interactive web demo uses a sample photo and holds its settings temporarily in the open page’s memory. It does not access your camera; simulated photos are neither saved as files nor transmitted.

This website and its hosting
This preview is hosted as part of the existing WEIT Services website. The hosting provider processes necessary server log data such as IP address, time, requested file and browser information to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose errors. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted when no longer needed for these purposes, unless a security incident requires longer retention.
No analytics or marketing services
This website uses no analytics, advertising, social media or externally hosted fonts, and sets no cookies or browser storage to recognise visitors. Language switching uses page links. The scroll animation runs in your browser, does not access your camera and does not transmit photos.
When you contact us
The contact link opens your email app. We receive information only if you send a message. We use your name, email address, message and voluntary attachments to respond. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual enquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for answering general enquiries. In line with the existing WEIT privacy information, general enquiries are normally retained for six months after they are concluded; legal retention duties or legal claims may require longer storage. Contacting us does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Recipients and external links
Necessary hosting and email providers support delivery and communication. They receive data only as required for their tasks. Other disclosure occurs only where legally required or necessary to handle your enquiry. External websites, such as WEIT Services or the supervisory authority, are opened only when you follow a link. Their operators’ privacy information then applies.
The FrameChayn app
The current prototype processes photos, references and films on your device. It contains no analytics or advertising services and needs no user account. Importing and deliberate sharing use the system features you choose; these may include cloud or other services you have configured. Sequences remain locally stored until you remove them or delete the app. Copies exported elsewhere remain in those locations. Privacy information for a future App Store version will reflect the features actually released.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. In particular, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. Contact info@weitservices.at to exercise these rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Voluntary information
Visiting this website requires no registration or entry of personal information. Contacting us is voluntary; we cannot reply without a reachable contact address. This website does not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.
