Your last photo becomes a transparent reference over the live camera. Find your perspective again – and turn individual moments into one continuous story.
Hide the reference briefly to see your current subject without an overlay. Adjust the opacity continuously. Try both in the web demo.
Try it in the demo ↗In the app, tap your subject to focus, drag the sun control to adjust exposure and pinch to zoom. Available lenses and photo resolutions depend on your iPhone or iPad. These camera controls work in the native app; the web demo uses a sample photo.
Your sequences stay locally in the app. Play them back, export a film or choose to share original photos using the share sheet. FrameChayn needs no account or cloud server of its own. Read more in our privacy information.

Match the live camera to your reference. Turn on subtle direction arrows whenever you need a little help.
Each new photo becomes your next reference. Play your sequence right in the app and export it as a video.

The prototype runs on iPhone and iPad, with German and English built in. Next come everyday testing and a small closed test group, before FrameChayn reaches the App Store.
Questions or interested? ↗FrameChayn is being developed for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Physical testing so far has used an iPhone 15 Pro and an 11-inch iPad Pro M1. More devices and system versions are part of the upcoming tests.
Yes. “Maximum detail” uses the photo resolutions offered by your selected camera. A photo of around 48 megapixels has been verified on iPhone 15 Pro. Actual resolution depends on the device, lens and shooting conditions. Film export has separate settings.
The optional Follow photo guide compares your live view with the reference on your device. Arrows help with small corrections. It estimates overlap between the views; it does not measure the exact camera position in 3D space.
FrameChayn has its own camera. On supported iPhones, you can open it using an Action Button shortcut. The reference overlay works inside FrameChayn.
